Sundarban Hilsa (Ilish) Festival

As we know that the Sundarban Hilsa Festival 2025 is also known as Ilish Utsav. It is an annual celebration held in West Bengal India. It is dedicated to the arrival of the prized Hilsa fish in the rivers of the Sundarbans Delta. This festival starts from July and stays upto September. It coincide with the peak hilsa fishing season in the region. 

The festival offers a unique 2-night, 3-day tour package that includes a variety of activities such as jungle safaris, tribal dance performances and cultural interactions with local communities. The Participants can savor a wide array of hilsa-based dishes like hilsa paturi, hilsa curry, and smoked hilsa, along with other seafood delicacies.
